Our “mystery recipe” comes plucked from the red box this morning as I’m sipping my own peppermint mocha coffee (Millstone Holiday peppermint ground coffee + 1 coffeemate packet + 1 teaspoon of hot cocoa powder) and I’m hungry, which must’ve been why my fingers landed on this beauty:
Breakfast Pizza
4 English muffins
8 slices tomato or 1/2 c. tomate paste
1/2 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
1 c (1/2 lb) pork sausage meat
Slice muffins in half. Place a tomato slice or 1 tablespoon tomato paste on each muffin half. Sprinkle salt and pepper over tomato. Top each muffin half with 2 tablespoons sausage meat. Place in a shallow baking plan. Broil under hot broiler heat for ten minutes. Serve immediately. Yield 4 servings.
How fun would that be to serve holiday guests this year, especially to kids?
