ashirtI know it’s officially Wine Wednesday, so I’ll feature a very appropriate shirt my darling lil sis got me for Christmas. I plan on wearing it to my next Group Therapy session (aka Wine Bar Tour 2010). But today I thought I’d share a cool recipe I found on Twitter via Kelli Stanley. I plan on giving it a whirl (or is that swirl?) in the near future. Perfect to shake things up at your next book party.

BLUE TRAIN
A glimpse of swank from a 1939 cocktail book … THE BLUE TRAIN! 1 jigger cognac 1 pony pineapple juice Shake with cracked ice and pour into champagne glass. Fill with champagne, stir gently, and serve at once. If you don’t drink alcohol, you can substitute ginger ale for the cognac and mix with non-alcoholic champagne. It’s a delicious drink, especially for the holidays … enjoy! :) Kelli
