  1. Ok, my eyes are mistying up now.. I so miss my grandmother!! She taught me to make biscuits by scratch. Probably because I would sneak pieces of the dough as she was rolling & cutting out the biscuits. Some people like raw cookie dough, I like raw biscuit dough!

  2. I love that video. My grandparents have been gone for years but my mother is 83 and my father is 90. This video reminded me that my mother told me my grandmother never turned a hungry person away during the Depression – there was always enough food to share. Of course, she worked hard for that food, but it didn’t matter.
