Remember, about a year ago, when a very provocative title caused a bit of a kerfluffle? Go the F— To Sleep was intended as a spoof for parents who could relate to the trials and tribulations of getting their precious, precocious and much-loved children to sleep. But it turned into a battle cry for some who saw it as at best inappropriate and at worst abusive.

Writer Adam Mansbach and illustrator Ricardo Cortes have teamed up to produce Seriously, Just Go To Sleep, a totally-appropriate-for-children version of the tale of frustration of trying to get your precious, precocious and much-loved children to sleep.

With this version, kids can laugh along at the tales of children doing their best to avoid sleep while their parents plead with them to get some rest. This is a book that parents and children alike can enjoy.

Look for this title in the Children’s section of your favorite book retailer. The other one should not be anywhere near it.
